Joint replacement procedures (hip and knee) drastically improve the quality of life and have showed an approximate 90 % efficiency in pain relieving in operated patients, increasing their abiblity to perform everyday tasks, increasing their mobility and relief from chronic pain.
By following the everyday world developmental trends in endoprosthetics, Special hospital of orthopedics and traumatology “St.Erazmo” – Ohrid for 18 years has been successfully performing hip prosthetics, and 8 years knee prosthetics, with the use of primary and revisional arthroplasty.
